Question Name me some bikes with these requirements

2 bikes required

first-
low cc- eg 125 or 250 maybe at a push a wee bit higher
tall- must not look like a mini moto while I ride it ( im 6" 8 for the unaware)
speed- must be able to sit at 80-85 without wanting to blow up
price- from 500-1000 of the wifes hard earned

to be used to make commute every day of only a few miles but some duel carriageway hence the speed requirement

2nd-
learner legal
shortish - wife is 5" 4
speed- must sit at 70 mph without blowing up
style- think sv naked or akin street bike look
price- 500-1500

also to be used for commute of about 20-30 miles, preferably good lights as standard but can upgrade if necessary (she works in the **** end of nowhere)

first person to say push bike gets a slap (you all know im a man of my word)

push bikes

Dave any of the around 250cc trailie bikes will suffice as long as you change the gearing more suited to road duties.

as for the 125. honda CG, suzuki GS or similar will be fine for the mrs.

You won't get 70 from a Honda CG. The best I got out of mine was 65mph and that was running flat out on Tesco 98 octane. Probably what caused the gudgeon pin to rip out the bottom of the piston.
