Default Bridgestone BT 023

Anybody used them? What are they like?

I now have to commute on the bike until I can find another place to keep it locked up.

Need new tyres for the blade and can get a pair fitted for £195 at HMS.

Cheers

I had a pair on the VFR when I got it, Didn't like the feel in the wet at all when they were cold, I once stopped to check if I had a puncture, once warm (say 5 mile) was OK. Now have a Bridgestone S20 EVO on the front and will change the rear to suit.

I love 'em. I've got them fitted to my Bandit and use that all year round and have total confidence in them. Never had an issue even in proper evil weather.

I've also had them fitted to 2 SV track bikes and got them super snotty at the track with no issues. Now using S20 Evos but that's not because of anything lacking with the 023s.

I have them on my SV.
Only ever had front skip out on bumpy toe down roundabouts, but gripped quickly afterwards ( more an issue with the SV suspension I suggest). Never had a issue in the wet.
Just put a new one on the rear after 12k miles. Still a few K miles in the front yet.
Would say it's more a sports/touring tyre.
