Fuel Pump Relay
SV650S SK3
My fuel pump relay is not being energised when the ignition is turned on. The fuel pump works and the relay works (i have tested them both) I am not getting communication between the ECM and the relay telling it to start the pump. Does any body know what it could be, or have had similar problems? TIA |

once again get the official sv manual there is a detailed process for doing the fault finding test for this fault. ive done this exact test using it. my fault was the pump not priming therefore i had to buy a new pump. This fault has a multitude of possible key areas and it might not just be one thing.

Learn to maintain your bike, take it apart, rebuild the engine & more (using better bolts  ), drop it & fix it again!K3 Job c.v: Engine:remove/split/rebuild/refit. Replace:Gearbox,Fuel pump,Gaskets. Piston clean,rings. Overhaul:Throttle body,Injectors,Brakes,Forks. Remove/refit:Exhaust,Radiator,Oil cooler,Throttle,Air filter,Tank. Replace: Oil,Coolant,grease,brake hoses & bleed.
