Default K6 Parts for a K3.

Not Sure if i know the answer for this..

Would K6 parts, rear hugger ect, fit onto a K3...
Since theyre both pointies, or is it more specific than that?
Thanks, David,

Depends on the parts - no sure on the hugger - would have thought that it was the same as long is it is a K6 Naked for a K3 naked or K6S for a K3S.
Things like the seat and radiator are different from the K3/4 models onwards for instance but most things will be the same.

Rear subframes are different so undertrays etc. might not.

The K3 was a bit of a prototype for the pointy, and as such some bits will fit and some won't. Your best bet is to try to contact the makers of the bits and ask them TBH

I have a K3 Ermax hugger on my K5 (same as K6) I had to chop the toolbox off the bottom of the battery box, but that was no great loss cos it had no lid and I didn't like the look of it there anyway.

Doing it in reverse and fiting a K6 hugger to a K3 should be easy. Just bear in mind that a naked model has two brake hose loops and fixings on the right side, where the S faired model only has one. Having said that, my Ermax hugger went from a K3 naked to a K5 faired with no modifications because it was made to suit both naked and faired bikes. If it's a Pyramd hugger make your own bracket that is bolted to the brake hose loop fixing(s), because the original one is made from pure Rustonium, looks gash and doesn't do a very good job.
