They do look good. Give the demo bike a thorough test, it's mandatory

I do so like the look of those. Shame a seat height of 850mm is way too much for my little legs. And Craig is quite right - a thorough test ride is a legal requirement!

Hope you enjoy it John. When is yours due in by the way?

Hopefully in the next week or so. I wasn't too fussed about taking the demo out but as they called me offering it ...

Feels a bit like opening your presents before Christmas day.

Maybe find some suitable goat tracks to try it out John. I can show you a few I know of.....

Have fun, hope you enjoy the test ride.

Had my first proper evening ride of the year yesterday. I always forget what a joy they are: at 7pm there's almost no traffic, I pretty much had the roads all to myself.

Carving down the Via Gellia (A5012) through the tunnel of trees towards Cromford, then back via Carsington Water and the long swooping bends of the Dam Road around the reservoir ... biking doesn't get much better. I got home with a massive grin on my face and a visor splatted with bugs.

I took the scenic route to St Ives (Cambridge) today, summer jacket, summer gloves. Fantastic weather all round, and it was a low-insect day, too! The only shame was that I had to come back by the A1(M) to get home at an acceptable time.

I've only just stopped wearing my heated vest, and the thermal liner is still in my jacket

To be fair, the lining was still in my jacket, but it still counts.

I was out today. Took out the inner liner of my jacket but still needed a jumper.

Kia warranty.

In contrast to the main dealer post in the gripe thread, got to give credit where it’s due.

Mrs T’s Sportage developed a rattle which turned out to be a drop link needing replaced.

The car’s over 6 years old and 40,000 miles so just one of those things I thought. Took it to the usual place and he told her to take it up to the Kia garage as it was still within their 7 year warranty.

Booked in, fixed same day under warranty with a video walk around sent to her phone showing the problem to be fixed and a general safety check of tyres and brake pads.

Our usual guy says he can’t believe the stuff they fix under warranty that nobody else would look at.
