Default What are Kawasaki doing in the U.S?

Check out these new bikes. Two of them look decidedly old and they call the old GPZ500 a Ninja 500R oooh!!

Not sure if the Ninja 650R is the same chassis/frame as the ER6 but looks like it has a different power plant.

Lastly check out the colours of the ZZR1400.....only in America!

Ninja this, Ninja That.
Did you know that Suzuki are going to do an SV650 Hayabusa and Honda will
shortly be releasing the Honda Hornet Blackbird!

Translations as best I've figured:

Ninja 500 = ER5
ZX6/Ninja 650 = ER6
ZZR 600 / Ninja 600 = ZX6R J2 (200-2001) as the cuurrent bike, older ZZR 600s before that.
Ninja ZX6R = ZX6R (Thankfully)

But they never got the ZX6R A1P (636cc version of the ZX6R J2 from 2002)

Plus they get some very odd paint schemes

Yeah what is the fascination with stickers that look like flames! I did that when I was 5!

I just hope they handle better than the cars they drive over there. Would be like driving a rice pudding through jelly.

Do you know how hard they had to hunt to find enough corners for the photos? It's a wonder sports bikes sell at all

My buddy just came back from Deal's Gap in North Carolina. The Dragon's Tail has 300-something turns. Sadly though the most I can hope for is turning into my driveway lol.

The 650 is actually a cool little v-twin. Upright and faired. Dont know first hand though.
