Default rear suspension

Just upgraded my K1 sv 650's front forks with progressive springs and new oil.

Feels great , now it makes the rear feel anything but good...... Doh !

Any experience with what you can do to the rear end ? throw away the unit and get an aftermarket one i suppose ?

advice thoughts greatly received

Stev

search for 636 shock and SRAD shock Lots of good info on those. Not as good as a Penske or similiar, but then again, costs about 1/25th as much.

I will add the ZX10R shock to northwinds repley, then you have a little more possibilities to look for.

Any of those will fit - any K series GSXR shock fits a pointy SV.

Stev, before anyone can make any useful comments about which unit to use, we need to know how much you weigh, and whether you are happy with your current seat height, or would like it higher or lower.

well since you asked.......I'm about average

5'10" and 12 stone and happy with the seat height and the roads round here are not that smooth so feel that the rear end is a bit bouncy.

looking at Hagon replacement shox but it's not cheap(though maybe worth it)
