an old courier trick was to bolt a spray can lid to the clutch lever clamp and stuff a wet sponge in it.

Great route Bibio, and thanks all for making a newbie feel welcome, hopefully I didn't slow you all down too much.

I'm a bit rammed with work over the next few weeks but hopefully I can make it to another run soon.

Oh I'm deffo up for that! Don't know if you've been up Glenshee recently but the twisty bit beside Glenisla is incredible. It's like a race track. I was up at the weekend.

I would definitely need petrol somewhere near Dufftown though. Maybe Craigellachie

Braemar to Banchory 102 miles. so i doubt you will need pertol.

i like the Glenisla road but its a bit out the way. LOM might be coming up so dont want to add too many miles.

Braemar is closed on Sunday.

Oh I meant the Glenshee road where it goes past Glenisla. It's been resurfaced

not been up there since last year but the surface was pretty good then.

since when has the petrol station in Braemar been closed on a sunday. i know they shut early at 5pm but not closed. if it is we will just go into Ballater as its 24hr card payment.
