Handlebar conversion
Hi, looking at converting my curvy S to naked handlebars, retaining the fairing.
If I use a genuine top yoke, have I read correctly that I need a a spacer on the stem and that the steering lock doesnt line up correctly? Thanks In advance |

Re: Handlebar conversion
I've done the search and found one comment about spacer and steering lock alignment.
Anyone had these problems? p.s. before you ask its a 650 |

Re: Handlebar conversion
I have done something similar with my Pointy, but do not know enough about the curvy bits to offer any real advice. What I can tell you is that I used a big set of risers, motocross bars and the N model pointy top yoke and it went together perfectly.
If you cannot find any information, have you considered talking to your local engineering shop about having your S yoke adapted? With my fork swap I am using a set if Gixer yokes and have had some plates machined that go into the bottom of the top yoke to add strength and allow the fitting of a set of risers. Good luck and I hope that you can find some answers. |
