Default Can i do a handlebar conversion with what ive got?

I'm on a semi faired / bikini model early 07 SV and have the handlebars and forks off my old NAKED 06.

Could i swap over the yokes, lower fork crown, and put my bars on, connect all the switch gear and clutch/throttle cables and away we go? Or do i really NEED to buy longer brake lines and cables?

and if i gotta buy new cables, will they all still plug into the switch gear and throttle assembly things?

Thanks, sorry if i sound simple.. just gotta make this bike comfier!

you dont need new switchgear cables you just need to remove the connectors from the securing bar in front of the airbox. yes you need new brake lines.

Grips, carefully slide a thin screwdriver in between the grip and squirt some WD40 or similar and wiggle the screwdriver so that the wd40 gets everywhere, the grip should slide off easily.

clean it up and dry it.

to reattach spray hairspray inside the grip and slide it onto the bar. The hairspray will stick it to the bar nicely.

do the same for the throttle side
