January Photo Comp 2011 Theme: Motion : VOTE OFF
Well here we go again and the opening theme for 2011 shall be, as per thread title, Motion. Being able to imply movement in a "frozen" frame is one of the most powerful things you can do with a photograph, so gentlemen start your cameras and show us some motion.
Here's a little something for inspiration: For the geeky heads out there, this shot was taken with a D90 and 18-55 VR kit lens, then slightly cropped and balanced for colour and tones. Good luck! Edit:- Please read the Rules before posting your entry :0) Last edited by Richie; 01-01-11 at 10:30 PM. |

Congrats on the win. I have changed my entry to this pic of 3 birds in different stages of a dive for some bread i threw into a pond. Taken with a Canon G12 and this pic has been shown several months ago.

Here's mine. Was a toss up between 2, but this one won. Taken at 3 Sisters, Wigan on my Canon EOS300D 70-300mm lens.

Had about 5 to choose from !! This is heavily cropped as I was on a d90 with 300mm lense on full zoom but was miles away. |
