Default Things are going well for once.

As some of you may or may not know I'm in the process of becoming a cager for my commutes. It started today with my car theory test, while I was 95% sure I'd past I was more focused on beating my motorcycle theory test. For the bike test I got 49 out of 50 for the multiple choice and 60 out of 75 for the hazard perception.

Went in for my car theory and to be honest I thought I had fluffed 3 or 4 of the question so the idea of beating my previous scored was very slim. For the hazard perception I did start getting a bit click friendly and started to worry that I might be clicking too much. While I had done well I didn't think I had picked up the hazards quick enough to beat my bikes score.

After I'd done both parts, the optional questions, clip and the feedback questionnaire I signed out. When I asked the man behind the desk what the time was so I could put it on the sheet I realised I was in and out in under a hour. This has no real significance until you consider that 55 minutes is allocated to the question side of it alone.

But anyway when I got outside I opened it like Charlie open his wonka bar on Charlie and the chocolate factory did. Did I pass? Did I beat my score from last time?

Cause I did, 50 out of 50 for the multiple choice and 62 out of 75 for the hazard perception with the pass mark being 43 for the questions and 44 for the hazard perception. So I come home, had a breather then phoned the instructor that passed my brother and mother to see when I could get some car time. At this point I was expecting it to be a week or 2 at the least, but my first lesson in a car is for tomorrow at 7:30 PM! I hope he's got good insurance if he's letting me loose in his car at night!

You wanna buy my car Seggons?
Congrats buddy. I did rubbish on my theory test both times but just scraped through.

Consistantly Average is the story of my life

I always think if someone who is only ridden bikes before gets behind a wheel as a learner is going to scare the crap outta the instructors with some full throttle antics

Want to pay my insurance to drive it? Group 1 car, worth £200, TPFT is around the £1000 mark. It's laughable.

Tee he he. I just have to remember to not filter and remember that I'll have at least the width of 2 bikes next to me.

Nice one Scott. I've thought about doing car lessons but as I have no intention of buying a car there's not much point in spending out on one.
Congrats

I hope you're planning on getting a 4X4 with your propensity for off-roading!

It might not be a 4X4 but I'll make sure it has knobbly tyres for it.

The Ducati's got to make it to the ferry first.
