To do Route 66, I need transport. Right....we'll see if this one fits......

I reckon it does, so.....

I must be on the right road....

The Bridge of Rocks across the mighty Mississippi. Look carefully and you'll see where it bends half way across the river.

A cafe in Missourri. "So it'll be two eggs easy over with bacon, sausage, hash browns, rye toast and jelly. More coffee, Sir?" Oh yes indeed - and repeat that every day for 25 days.....

On into New Mexico......just long straight roads.

The Uranium Cafe in Grants NM had great folk!

Hiding away in Santa Fe from the HOG Rally taking place up the road....

"Standing on the corner, in Winslow Arizona, such a fine sight to see......"

"Why is your bike under your Motel window, Sir?"
"Because I can't get it in the room with me!!"

There be gold in them thar hills.....

Now, THAT'S what an ol' geezer like me needs. AND it's the right (fast) colour, too!..

Heading into a storm in Arizona....

Jeez! I made it!! Santa Monica Pier...Route 66's END!!!

Journey's end and au revoir Magna....delivered to the shippers (on my 60th birthday) to bring it back to the UK.

Magna is a decent bike, well good engine anyhow. V4 rules.
Pity about the single front disc...

Looks like a good ride, did ya at least get ya kicks?
