Re: panniers for a dog..
The little non slip booties are around £60, believe it or not! I wouldn't buy them or the panniers.

Re: panniers for a dog..
Funnily enough we sell very similar stuff on our store. [plug]Snowpaw Store[/plug] The "panniers" (Dog backpacks) pictured there is one of the top brands (we hoping to stock them soon). It's also massively to big for the "dog" pictured as it would put too much pressure on their spine.
We use similar boots (not £60 ones though) when racing on icy or stony surfaces to save the dogs paws. |

Hey, Rigor
Ever race up this way - we're near Dalby, so see Beta? events from time to time. Heard a few years ago that an event in Norfolk was abandoned because of snow. That would be like cancelling the Elephant! |

Re: panniers for a dog..
Dalby is too far north for us soft suverners Although we were up at Aviemore in January. There are events around your area though.
It's possible that an event was canceled due to snow. Most of the running in this country is done on three-wheeled rigs rather than sleds, so more than a couple of inches of snow renders them unsafe. People with sleds available will still have raced, just not "officially" if that makes sense |

Re: panniers for a dog..
Just pi$$ing about, Rigor.
Isn't Aviemore even further north than here, though? The Norfolk event was cancelled due to problems with access due to snow, but it did bring a smile to my face. Hows about the Iditarod, then? |

Re: panniers for a dog..
My lad works at Cotswold Outdoor and they sell doggie panniers. They are trained to size and adjust to fit correctly.
