Photo Comp February 2010 :- Macro
Cheers for the votes last month I thought it was one of the best months to date as there we so many entries.
This month I want to keep it broad again, so hopefully there will be a lot of entries (I can almost hear Richie crying into his keyboard - sorry - you do a great job ) The theme: Macro The rules: 1-Anything goes EXCEPT photoshopped tilt/shift. Tilt/shift is only permitted if it has been done in camera (i.e with a camera's movements) and not as a post effect 2-Subject can be anything you like, so long as it is close-up/macro photography. 3 - EDIT I forgot the standard Richie smackdown - No chatting, 1 pic per person blah blah, you know the score Go people! Cheers Luke

Congrats to you Luke
Here is this month's offering (posted before on these forums). It is a hoverfly in motion just before it landed on the flower. D90 with 50mm 1.8 and an achromatic close up filter attached. Last edited by TC3; 17-02-10 at 08:34 AM. |

Nikon D40, with 50-200mm lens, camera set on full auto as I didnt want to miss the shot. Orginal pic, no cropping or photoshop. Taken in the back garden at home.

Anyway, something a bit different I guess, the iridescent wing bar of a Wigeon (duck) |
