Default New member...

Hi - thanks for allowing me to join.

Picking up a new SV AL9 tomorrow. Thought I'd treat myself. As you can see from my username - I also have another Suzuki. I just want something I can have a little fun on. Missus took one look at the SV - she said "If you think I'm going on the back of THAT - you have another thing coming". Well, pegs are coming off first thing...

Ride safe everyone...

Still got my K3. I've test ridden other bikes but the only one I liked was a used stripple but the price was eye watering.

Welcome. Which colour did you get? I'm on my 3rd SV, I keep buying different bikes but then return to the fold. I'll be interested to see how you get on with the seat - opinions vary from aaargh! to "it's ok".

The forum always quietens down in the winter but there's so many good bikes in the SV class that it has diluted its (the SV's) popularity, plus a lot of people wanted an "S" model and were disappointed by the "X".

I'm still here too, and also with an SV.

The forum certainly isn't dead, there's plenty of posting activity going on.

Welcome along GSX1400 by the way.

Got the gen 3 with the blue wheels/frame and white tank.

Been in bits since I picked it up. Tailtidy now on. Crash posts too. Rad guard. Can too - Scorpion stainless taper. Very quiet though. Baffle might be coming out. Set of hangers on back order.

Seat? Jury is out!! From my GSX1400 (which I’m keeping). I think I might need to invest in some haemorrhoid cream..!!

Mirrors are awful. All I can see are my shoulders. Trawling eBay at the mo for some extenders. I have them on my 14. I’ll see if I can whip them off and see if they fit.

All in all great bike. I want something different to the 14. 14 is getting heavy now. I just want something I can have a little fun on. I turned 56 mid week. So the SV will be the last bike I buy. Went back to same dealers 38 years to the day I bought my first bike..,
