Just to add that before becoming vegan about a year ago, I was veggie for the previous 25 years. At the age of 64 I am fitter, healthier, and more active than I have ever been. And I don't spend all my time eating.

All the more hamburgers and sausages for us carnivores then........ and it tastes better than dried locusts or mealworms.

Natures favourite way way of controlling population is by the food supply available (and also disease when things get too crowded), humans are going against the tide by manipulating the food supply just so that Africans don't need to use contraception, in the meantime the extra bodies just continue to degrade the planet and steal habitat from the other creatures we share it with. Typical human arrogance, but it is just delaying the inevitable crash a by few more years..... then cockroaches and ants will inherit what is left of the Earth.
Could I possibly ask you a question?

Are you a total 'C' sounds like Runt or just an ignorant 'C' sounds like runt?

No offense meant....just curious. Thanks in advance.

Well you may not have meant offense but it reads offensive to me, perhaps I'm a little sensitive

we all have our own views in life and i personally think that everyone is entitled to their own way of thinking whether other people like it or not until it becomes personal and violent.

Or just buy a new li-ion based cordless drill and be done with it, chances are if what you got is that old you can't find replacement batteries something else will go wrong with it soon enough. As an example a cheap non brand name hammer action drill with 13mm chuck and 2 X 1.5ah batteries will set you back £55: https://www.toolstation.com/shop/p45009

I use my 20 year old Bosch corded hammer drill loads more than my much newer dewalt cordless li-ion drill, the hammer action and power on the corded drill much better. Cordless are ok away from home or where no power sockets, but at home never too far from a 13amp socket. And remember "If it has t!ts, tyres or a battery it is going to give you problem". Li-ion much better than nicad or ni-mh for life and keeping their charge when not used for a while.
