very friendly well priced campsite in southern France

Just would like to recommend a really great friendly cheap campsite in the south of france in the Northern Provence/Haute Alpes region around 100 km from Nice.

The owners are very friendly. Showers and toilets are pretty clean for france. bar food is very reasonable. Drinks are very cheap. really recommend the Rose by the caraffe which is locally produced. Pitches for tents are well spaced and electric is available. Local village has a decent bakery (open every day) and mini supermarket (most days) with Digne Le Bain being just 25 miles away with large hyper market.

Great base for Nice, Cannes, Marseille, North Provence, Gorge Du Verdon, Col D'Allos and other mountain passes. Short way from Italy. The site is located on the famous Route Napoleon!
