3 Hills St Barnabas Charity Rideout Sept 17th 2006

Hi Everyone
Myself and some friends are busy organising a charity rideout to raise money for a local hospice in Sussex that helps care for people with cancer. The hospice is called St Barnabas in Worthing and they do a fabulous job, not only for their charges but also for the families of those affected.

The route is from Bury Hill (West Sussex) to Portsdown Hill (Hampshire) and Box Hill (Surrey) and back to Bury and will take place on Sunday 17th September.

Entry to the ride is in the form of a donation of £5 per bike and this will give you a badge to commemorate your contribution and a raffle ticket (prizes to be confirmed once we have finished getting them all donated ). You can also get sponsorship for the ride.

We hope to have as many bikes as possible attending this event, the more the merrier, so please dont forget to invite any of your friends that you think might be interested as long as their machines are capable of 55mph they can do it, and if they cant ride, they can sponsor you instead!!

If you would like to take part please visit our website and add your name to the signup thread. Unfortunately we must have a list of attendees, one, to make sure you get all the relevant information to you and, two, places are limited to 100 for safety reasons.

If you cannot attend but would like to help nonetheless please drop me a PM or email (samk_1010@hotmail.com), I need first aiders, marshalls at the rendevous points and lots of other help.

I hope to see lots of you there on the day........imagine the sight of 100 bikes coming down the A24 with a police escort!!
