Default Indianapolis Moto GP

As I'm sure some of you know (I think I may have mentioned it!) I was lucky enough to dep for James Toselands band at this years Indy GP

I'm back at the hotel now waiting for the bass player to get his @rse out of the shower before we go out tonight.
Now I was a proper tool and forgot my camera so had to borrow one to take some pics.
I'll upload a few before I go out with more to follow.
So far it has been a completely surreal weekend. I can quite honestly say James is a seriously top bloke. Really funny, completely down to earth and a top musician too! I tried not to let on that to him that I was a massive bike fan, but when he found out he went out of his way to make the trip even better. More of that later!

Stage that we were playing on friday night: had a great view of the back straight so I didn't miss anything on friday morning when we were setting up!

View over the start finish line from the balcony on the suite we were given on friday!

Facing t'other way

Inside the suite overlooking the pits!

T'other way again!

Complimentary Ben and Jerrys on the way to the paddock.

After free practice 1.

Got to go now. I'll upload more when I can. This gets more surreal, I'm off out for something to eat with the band, James and Matt Roberts the BBC GP presenter then probably to the red bull after race party

Soundcheck Saturday downtown Indianapolis

Obligatory pit girl pic

Cop bikes nxt to outdoor gig

When James found out I was into bikes and had brought my seat cowl to get signed he said he may be able to take me round the garages. Unfortunately he had to do some interviews and didn't get a chance. Instead he only got me a pass to get on the grid before the race. Top man!

After the race:

I managed to get my seat cowl signed by: Toseland, Lorenzo, Spies, Edwards, Capirossi, DePuniet, Randy Mamola, Hayden and................ROSSI!!!!!!!
To top it all off, apparantly I was on BBC2 coverage of the grid walk too

Not sure this weekend can be topped really!

Forget the 'lucky' part, you're a git.

I'm well jealous, the pit girls were gross looking as well and I wouldn't like to see more pictures of them honest

Ha - I saw you on the BBC footage walking behind JT when he was being interviewed on the grid.

Nice pics and an awesome experience I bet!

Awesome - anymore jobs going for an overweight, under tall, middle aged poser? I can do sound checks - "1, 2, 1, 2, testing".
