Re: the cold
Heated grips?? Or a cheaper quicker alternative Hein Gericke do those waterproof over glove jobbies for about £20.... might help keep the wind out?

Re: the cold
Warm body helps keep warm hands, did 150 miles over the weekend in rather chilly conditions. I believe I was wearing:
T-shirt, EDZ base layer top & bottom, thin jumper, 2 piece leathers, Bulson winter boots, cheap waterproof trousers, Old winter bike jacket with thermal lining in. Neck tube, Lid & HG Master IV winter goretex gloves. The above keeps me happy down to about 3 degrees or so, much below that heated kit is king. I don't currently have any though Jambo

Re: the cold
Hold up, Alpinestar GP Pro, as in:
http://www.kneedraggers.com/details/...s--622557.html "Perforated leather panels for added ventilation. " You daft begger, get yourself some winter gloves if you're going to ride in winter!

Re: the cold
Good Thermals next to the skin work a treat. Then make sure your neck and wrists stay warm, as blood vessels are close to the skin there. If cold hands are your thing, then keep wrists warm is a must as are something like Thinsulate gloves. My gloves are £30 HG jobbies and worked fine to about -3 C.

Re: the cold
30 miles in Vented Summer Gloves, no wander your hands were cold. I'd never go out in the winter in mine, I get cold hands on summer evenings sometimes let alone the sodding winter !!!
Go and buy some winter gloves man !!! Dammit - beaten to it by Jambo
