yeah i know that, and that makes sence, but when they sheild the ball, say defender sheilding the ball letting it run out of play for a goal kick, the defender has never touched the ball, so that must be obstruction. If the player touches it, then its not obstruction, such as taking the ball to the corner flag to waste time.

just my view, becasue sheilding the ball without touching it in the midfiled is a foul.

Bosingwa got nothing for it and won't because the linesman has admitted that he saw it. The FA (if ever there was a suitable acronym then this has to it!) therefore can't do anything about it.

Just plain stupid, eh?

yep

while I find it quite funny that he did it as it was so blatant and crazy, there has to be retrospective punishment. If they can overturn a red card ban by apeal, they should be able to punish in the same way. give him a ban etc, but not a fine. fines achieve nothing.

It would be nice to think so, but "rules is rules".

change the rules!

not that hard to do. the FA even showed how easy it was by extending the transfer deadline, which i thought was crazy as they have already had a month to do the deals and they should of had to deal with it.

If i miss a deadline becasue of snow, its just tough.

but becasue its big money, they make concessions. same reason why i think their isnt retrospective punishment, as all it would do is increase the amount of suspensions which is bad in terms of money as key players might miss more games
