Big connector block in the fairing nose for lights. Connectors under the tank for other things (yellow and green from memory). They all fur up or corode over time, so if one is having problems then worth checking and cleaning them all.

Ahh right, yeah i did have a problem before with my dipped headlight not working and was the connector block which burnt the wire so had to rewire it, so maybe its burning out the wire for the indicators. Ill have a check. Thanks

How long have you had LED indicators fitted and did you notice the constant dim instrument lights from straight after they were fitted ?

As for bad earths ( negative commons normally connected to bodywork or frame of vehicles ) you may not be old enough to remember the usual problem with bad earths on older cars, if an earth connection for one rear lamp cluster got corroded the current would try to fine alternative ways around, often when the brake lights were energised the indicator or rear light would come on dim, and when the turn indicator was operated any one of the other lights in the cluster could flash. They may have got over this on more modern cars by putting the operating switch in he common ( earth ) side of lamps, or just by making the wiring and earths better ( like the Japs did ).

Bad earth is a long shot, more likely LED indicators or water to blame, or maybe a wire chaffed on frame.

I fitted led indicators about 4 years ago and it wasnt doing it since then. Its happened a few times over the last year but never really payed much attention to it as didnt bother me but its got brighter now so more noticable. The indicator wiring and the block connectors behind the radiator seemed all fine no dinks or bare wiring showing so maybe if i follow the wiring down the frame and check that.

The LED's don't draw enough current so the dash ones glow. If it bothers you enough you can fit resistors inline with them. I just left it. It only bothered me at night
