Did you get there using the road from Lake Bala, that is a good way to approach Lake Vyrnwy and a bostin' road to boot. |

Hi Nick, yeah I approached via Harwarden, Corwen then Bala, all super-duper biking roads. I've taken a few rides through the Tanat river valley which can be found between Bala and Oswestry, its a stunning ride itself but also gives an alternate approach to Vyrnwy.
To be honest, its hard to find a bad road in north and mid-Wales, a bit over-policed in the north, but mostly great quality.
