Default stress break!

Bit of a heavy week so far and looks like it will be for the rest of it, looking forwards to a nice "sit down and chill" session, with good company on friday.

Anybody joining me at neros this week ?

(wont expect the "sunshine boys" if it's inclement)

Cheers Mark.

Yeah I'll be there but if it rains expect me to beg some water from Nero's and start cleaning my bike!

It's been too long and having adjusted my clutch, put on something special to my SV (no, you'll have to wait and see) and new tyres now going on sometime Thursday, I shall be gagging for caffeine and bike chat.

Oh and I think it's very unfair of you to keep having a pop at the inline four guys (and Nick ) about bad weather making their bikes dirty. Good fun and totally true though!!!

Default Fridays Meet.

Are you all just meeting for a brew and chat or are you going for a ride as well? I dont own an SV as yet and for my sins ride about on a 100cc scooter, but i would like to meet up to get some info from people who know about the bikes rather than someone in a showroom who will tell you anything to get a sale. I'm currently saving up for the training and test.

Listen buster, just 'cause your already old and crepid it doesn't give you licence to have a pop at us young good looking chaps.

I'm not worried about the bike gettin' dirty, I can wash it whenever I need to. I just can't see the point of going out in the rain... If it rains when I'm out then faie enough.

I may see you on Friday, but the weather's already looking poor....

Come on down, it's more a social thing at this time of year.
Good mix of those new to biking and though that have been on the scene awhile.
If we don't know about it, we'll know a man how dose
Expect some flack if you pull up and prop you lid on you head though.

As I said more a coffee and chat (up coming events/ bike mods/ **** takes, that kind of thing).

Anyone welcome ranges between 4-12 (check out the pole on Friday)
But other bikers meet there as well; even get the odd copper talk to us (no jokes about all coppers being odd please).

Cheers Mark.

Us sad old gits, have got to get our fun some where, since regressing to an SV I've obviuosly got so slow it takes a week to get to Soho.

Not doubt see you on a track day this year, you can thrash me round the track (I promise to stop for a fag break about every 20 minutes or so).
thinking about getting a couple of panniers and a top box just to even it up a bit, or maybe a pillion?

Cheers Mark.

Default Rictus, Dont worry.....

I'd park the red baked bean can miles away so as no one knows youre socialising with a scooter owner. You know, i'm already having dreams about owning an SV. Sad eh!

Only problem being, the better halfs brother was in a coma for several weeks after crashing his duke so understandably she has some concerns.

I've been on bikes more year than I care to remember (not hard going senile) and even spend nearly 12 years as a paramedic picking people up at boxhill, so I’ve see enough to justify not riding bikes, however their is no way I'm even giving up before I'm physically unable to ride one (then I'll get a Harley or something).

It's good as a hobby, but if it gets in the blood it's addictive.
Right gear, right bike for you, right experience, can make it safer or limit possible injuries, it's not "safe" but then nothing else is either!

Cheers Mark.
