Default SV headstock bearing lube

Just thought Id post my experience of lubing the headstock bearings on my 2006 SV650S. I was worried about the condition of these bearings but didnt fancy a complete stripdown of the front end. Well turns out its not necessary as I was able to undo the stem nuts and drop the yokes, with forks and everything still attached, enough to clean the bottom bearing and grease it. Obviously the top bearing is easily accessible once the upper bracket is removed but doesnt suffer nearly as much as the bottom which was pretty grotty.
I did this with the bike on a paddock stand and a trolley jack under the sump to raise and lower as required for the dismantling and reassembly.
