Default Does squirting someone with a water-pistol constitute assault?

If not, who fancies camping out at a set of traffic lights and squirting cyclists that run red lights

Better hope someone doesn't report it to the police as "someone is pointing what looks to be a gun at passing cyclists" - assuming you don't get shot by a trigger happy firearms response unit you're probably looking at multiple years in prison (if it gets tagged as a firearms offence).

Does that mean I can sit at the junction and not jump the red light on hot days and get a cooling shower

Or am I allowed to retaliate with my drinks bottle

Put loads of sugar in it! Mmmmmm, sticky syrup!

Or, loads of artificial sweetners, taste really **** when it get in your mouth!

Or, go the whole hog and take a case of lager then you'll have a long lasting supply of refills for the water blaster! Some may like to call it John Smiths bitter!

I am just talking about plain, normal tap-water as dye, sugar, and sweetner could be regarded as criminal damage.

Just getting someone wet surely wouldn't count.

Just looking at waking the cnut up a bit.

Otherwise it would be sulfur compounds

you could spice things up a bit by using milk, god how awful would a hot biker covered in milk smell and i wont sting if it gets in their eyes or kill them if thy swallow it?

alternatively you could stick a brush shaft in their front wheel and watch them face plant as the wheel stops dead!!!

Here I am, trying to take a moderate stance by just annoying them a bit, bringing their anti-social behaviour to their notice and all I am getting is incitement to murder !!!!

If only it was that easy.

I want to wind them up so much that a Bendy Bus does that job for me !!!!!

I was a nearly victim of a drive-by water bombing last week. Fairly late after another night of Hell on the trains.

I'd just crossed over the road and was walking along the footpath to reach my street when an impreza tooted on the way past, the driver waved at me. Next thing I know there's a wet splash (I recognised the noise and splash pattern from years of experience at water bomb warfare ) about 4 feet in front of me and a people carrier goes past. I assume they launched it.

Silly buggers should work on their aim.

You're asking for trouble if you start shooting cyclists. All it'll take is just one to get arsey and you're in a world of police statements.
