Which topbox?
Hi all
Change in job now means I will probably need a topbox. Now having never owned one before I have no idea whats the best makes, are they secure enough to leave items left in them while parked up etc e.g helmet Any advice would be welcome as I will probably be looking at buying one sometime this week or next week |

For an SV?
Kappa/Giving rack and 30 litre top box are grand for general use. |

Re: Which topbox?
What sort of helmet? Some of the flip-front-with-built-in-sun-visor jobbies are bigger than a standard full face. Before you decide take your lid into a shop with display items and try them for size.
My V46 Givi takes two normal full face lids easily.

Re: Which topbox?
Yes it would be for a pointy k3. I plan on leaving my full face lid in there but has anyone ever had any problems with it being broken into?

Re: Which topbox?
I have left a helmet in topbox for years with no issue. I have carriedcomputer, camera etc however I would not leave these items un-attended. When Ihave been away overnight, I would take topbox inside where I was staying. It isprobably a bit like airport luggage. Expensive looking kit might be moretempting than cheap and cheerful. Re: Which topbox?
Never had a problem with anyone breaking into my box, I like Givi boxes and the 30L is the most reasonable size, nothing wrong with the bigger ones, just 30L is ideal.

Re: Which topbox?
My V46 is about the same size as Rictus' larger box and it's still narrower than the handlebars, so no, filtering is not compromised.
