Default crashed in to!!!

well it was gonna happen at some point some girl ploughed into me at the lights when i slowed down for a very late amber i stopped on red and she kept going think she was on the phone.the bike hit the ground hard on the right side and scraped all the fairing,damaged bar end,smashed indicator and dameaged scorpion pipe and broke both brake lever it'll be assesed soon may have even damaged handle bars or frame with the bang of it hitting the deck.but im alright which is the main thing

yeah got one who drove back round to give me her number said the girl was in the wrong which she was alot of people asked if i was ok then drove off when the lights changed.two bikers stopped to see if i was ok which doesnt suprise me as they always do

You're completely in the right here. The highway code says,

"AMBER means 'Stop' at the stopline. You may go on only if the AMBER appears after you have crossed the stop line or are so close to it that to pull up might cause an accident"

If she rear-ended you, then it's 100% her fault. Did you get a photo? Camera phones a good thing in this kind of situation, though some people carry a disposable camera under their seat.

Not good

The same thing happened to me in december, still fighting insurance, even though it wasnt my fault.

I believe moriarty had the same thing happen to him on the way back to selkent

Glad you're OK - make sure you claim for personal injury, however small! I got 1875 for the bike and 1100 for (very) minor injuries, which I didn't expect but helped out a lot when I got the SV.

Also, have a good think about it... time works wonders. I've thought about jacking it in a few times when I've had hits, drops or near-misses... but every time is a learning experience.

Hada very bad run into work this morning, but it's taught me a few new things!

im going the docs today as i hurt my back.i have a witness she called me this morning and said the girls driving was ridiculous.stiff as a board today
