Default better acceleration

Hi there i havent been on here in a while but was thinking about what i could do to make my sv650 k6 accerlerate a bit better, ie changing the gearing, i dont really use the top end as i prefer getting around town quicker, any help much appetiated

14 tooth front sprocket is far and away the cheapest and easiest way to get more acceleration.May get more rapid chain wear though,so you need to lube up well.

cool thanks for that, i just found one on ebay in the us for 21 dollors so not bad, are they hard to fit??

But seriously, up a tooth or two on the rear sprocket will also work as an alternative.
