Default Rictus?

Anyone seen/heard from him? Haven't seen him poking around on here or Facebook. Maybe he's got his head buried on that single cylinder thing he's got.

He's a bit poorly with flu. That's proper flu not the man flu that's slays lesser mortals.

Ouch influenza was easily the worst experience of my life so please send Mark my best if you see him.

Really gets my goat when people say they've been "ill with flu for the weekend" No you bloody havnt, at best you may have had a bad cold! If you had had influenza you'd be down a ****e site longer than a weekend - get a grip!.

Same with "I've got a migraine" OH REALLY??!! yet you're up and out of bed, worse still you're watching tv... You've got a headache you soft *****, once again - Get a grip.

With you on that one Owenski. When I get a headache it's annoying. When I get a migraine I just want to be put out of my misery with a bullet. I go to bed where I lie quietly in a the dark for a day at least. I get acute sense of smell so anything scented has to be taken out of the room and I can't eat or drink anything except water. Mostly I just try to sleep.

Same with flu. It lasts weeks, is totally debilitating and when you are suffering from it you couldn't get up to cash in a winning lottery ticket if you had only a few hours left to do it. And you probably don't even get a runny nose. And like Mark, going online isn't a priority.

But hopefully Mark will see this thread and know that we are sending him Soho Massive hugs and good wishes.

Everyone has them to a slightly different degree. Although my process is the same as Geo's the severity is less - blurred vision for an hour or so followed by blinding just-behind-the-eyes pain for about half a day.

Another GWS heading out to Rictus.
