Default sv k3 dead!!!!!

Question from newbie. Just come back from holiday bike been standing for a week, started her up fine went for a ride about 60 miles, everything seemed ok. Tried to start her at 4:30 this morning and shes absolutley dead. When ignition on no lights, no servo, nothing, totally dead. No alarm fitted completely standard bike. Please please help!!!!

Have you tested your battery to see if theres any charge there?

Sounds like its run down and needs charging.

And check your battery connections,and the main fuse.Flick your kill switch a few times too

Ok I read no lights to mean none on the panel. The neutral light should still be on even with the kill switch on IIRC.

So Id say its a battery/fuse thing over the kill switch. But we've all done that one - took me 6 hours once to work it out

charging battery as we speak all fuses are ok funny thing is when i connect the battery the rev needle go's to 7k for a split second and drops again but then nothing

I am sometimes a little slow in reacting when disturbed for a ride at 4.30am myself in all honestly.

i was on the way to work at 4:30 am this morning

right ALL fuses under seat check out all ok including the 2 green
if anyone has come across this problem before please let me know
also just called colin collins in watford but they cant look at the bike till at least the 26th of this month!! what am i gonna do without her till then?!?!?

Doesnt the rev counter rising to a certain figure then falling again indicate an error code? I know this is the case on some bikes, dunno about the curvey SV.

When mine did it, the error code went something like "Battery FUBAR: Replace ASAP".
