call me impressed.. the Honda fuel stabiliser worked wonders on my bike. the neighbour across the back had two bikes (both carbed) that had been laid up for a while and running like poo, so we chucked some honda fuel stabiliser through the systems and the both are now running lovely again.

yes it looks like toxic waste and smells funky but it does what it says on the bottle.

Replaced part of the fairing damaged by the scumbag thieves the other year after finally getting it in the right colour and for a reasonable price. The stripped, cleaned and regreased rear suspension linkage on the gsxr. After seeing loads on the book of faces failing and seizing due to neglect it was playing on my mind and wanted it sorted a finally getting out on the bike this weekend. Skylift was a godsend.

Love it or hate it. But I added some rim tape to the wheels.

Definitely all worth doing. Have you seen what's happened to the price of them in the last year? They're now fetching around £4k to £5k for similar to the K7 that I sold for under £3k a year ago.

Collected the VFR shock from Nitron and got some info on it's history while I was there. The spring I had on there previously was waaaaay too stiff. I knew this from riding it. Adam at Nitron confirmed this. I asked if it was just stiff for track use? ... nope, more than that. For two up riding? Nope, more than that... apparently sprung for someone very, very large. No wonder it was threatening to throw me off in the corners.

Fitted another lighter spring and between that, the servicing that Nitron did on the shock, plus the front spring upgrade and servicing I did a while back, the bike is totally transformed. So relieved after all the work I've put into it.

The weather was very average this morning so rather than ride 1/2 hr to the dyno in rain I have rescheduled the test session and spent about 6hrs, making, fitting and wiring the TPS. Since the cdi was designed to work with the tps, I think it's the thing to do.

good suspension is worth every penny even if its a 10% increase over stock it usually makes a difference. weirdly my nitron was oversprung and now feels much better with the proper spring.

That shock is 12 years old too. And still very good condition and very serviceable.

Just got my e-marked bar end mirrors, so I pulled off the "better looking" 75mm mirrors and banged on the new legal sized mirrors.
On a custom bike it doesn't feel right but I don't want to attract the wrong attention
