Any jobs going in the Reading area or within 25 miles or so?
Ive just quit my job as a hairdresser(dont flame me :P) as i want to try something else out. Im open to ideas, but essentially something probably hands on. Im considering anything from bikes, mechanics, body work, engineering, welding, metal work and everything else inbetween. Even perhaps more building side like plumbing. So just thought id ask if anyone knew of anything? Cheers

What are your qualifications / education / work experience? No point recommending a mechanics job if you don't have the quals or experience for example.

No qualifications then it will be difficult. Why not part time somewhere and get a college course?

Learn to maintain your bike, take it apart, rebuild the engine & more (using better bolts  ), drop it & fix it again!K3 Job c.v: Engine:remove/split/rebuild/refit. Replace:Gearbox,Fuel pump,Gaskets. Piston clean,rings. Overhaul:Throttle body,Injectors,Brakes,Forks. Remove/refit:Exhaust,Radiator,Oil cooler,Throttle,Air filter,Tank. Replace: Oil,Coolant,grease,brake hoses & bleed. |

I have no qualifications within mechanics, so im looking for an apprenticeship. Sorry, should of clarified that. Education is gcses, 1 b, 4 cs. Work experience is mostly hairdressing for the last 6 years without a gap.
