I thought about this route or something very similar for the Lincolnshire idea. If we do the route in reverse we could have the mid break in Skeggy.

155 miles start to finish.

I have not worked out the true start/finish point at this time. Or indeed any of the fuel stops. I can do this later if this route or area gets picked.

I agree, lets if Sythree is agreeable to sorting it out, plump for this route, also I think that a weekend should just be picked and then the date and route is set nice and early. Seemed to me that the discussions over when and where last year went on and on for ages before anything was sorted out.

Personally I would like as much notice as possible so as to make it easier to get the time off work

I'm much more in favour of the Licolnshire route.

Lincolnshire!

Not that it has anything to do with it being 20 minutes down the road.....

I'd still camp!

As did I last year when it was on my doorstep. Glad I did as I had a very pleasing and entertaining evening.

Personally I fancy the Shropshire route. It also has the advantage of JT being local. Always fancied a run out that way, all we need now is a date.

Can I suggest that I put a poll up in the relevent section stating three different weekends.

Let's say pick the last two weekends in June and the first weekend in July. run the poll for two weeks and which ever one has the most votes is the weekend that will be chosen.

As has been said before, last years dates flew about all over the place. I would be quite happy to run the poll.

As the first weekend in July is the British GP, which a lot of people like to go to, and the Peninne ride is on the June 17/18 (as is BSB & Snetterton) so may I suggest the following:

June 10/11
June 24/25
July 8/9

They all seem "other event" free at the moment.

Middle one...essential its the middle one (for the sake of forcing a decision!)
