Motrax DHM mushrooms

Motrax now do DHM....double hard mushrooms and they seem ok but anyone actually tried em yet?

They've done them for quite a while.
A few people have tried them, the general opinion is that they are not good.

I've got a set on. They've not been 'tested' yet but i dropped the bike on them while cleaning it to no ill effect Theres a thread on here about them somewhere. Do a search.

I bought some for my curvy but they wouldnt fit due to my lower fairings.
Went for the new R&G design as they require no fairing mods.
Easy to fit and seem to be well made but unsure how they perform in an accident (hopefully never find out).

I noticed a few bikes (naked or just bikini fairing) fitted with DHM at the rideout, so probably get some replies from some of them later.

The DHM are almost half the price of the R&G's though.

I have tested them a few months back in quite a hard spill and i think they are really good, bar ends as well!!

I fitted a set to my curvy, they were a bad joke. The LHS bung is solid and stood up to a crash well, but the RHS is a terrible design with an ally spacer which holds the outside bolt- far too weak for the application. Mine sheared just being torqued up for the second time, ever mind being crashed. Motrax eventually accepted that it was a design flaw and refunded me the cost but I don't think they've changed the design.
