That explains it then, Im 18 stone and the other half is on the back most of the time, also mostly start stop town riding... I may also be throttling it at every set of lights.

That's not much worse though.

Hi guys, my SV's K4 seems to give 120miles on Full Tank, this seems low from what I'm reading? Perhaps I'm riding her too hard?

We've had this discussion on here before so I know I'm at the opposite end of the scale from Bibio where I'm lucky to see 100 miles before I need to fill up.

Having said that I only ride my SV recreationally, I very rarely take it on motorways or into town, and it's got a PC3 fitted which I know puts it a bit on the rich side as some points of the curve.

I guess what I'm saying is you shouldn't worry about it!

i suppose its not fair saying MPT as that is full to pushing so i'll give the MPL figures.

avg 13.20mpl = 60.02mpg
min 11.66mpl = 53.00mpg
max 15.34mpl = 69.75mpg

I can get 130-140 miles until light starts flashing. I weigh 110 kgs and only have a quarter inch on my chicken strip , so you can judge how I ride when I'm on my own....

I'm 15 stone in my kit and most of my journeys are under 15 miles each way, usually in quite heavy traffic, so part pootling in a queue and part manic overtaking. My K3 naked averages 10.4 MPL, around 50mpg except for one tankful where I caned it and only got 38mpg.

I'm 14st and knocking out an average of 60MPG on my K9, but this is 300 miles of commuting a week, but only 50 miles of that is motorway - I treat going to and from work like a ride out so I'm not hanging about, but I'm also not the fastest rider out there SV #2 SV #1.
