So far they have successfully punched out a indicator cluster and protected my leavers from a low speed spill when a ped walked out in front of me.

No... but at this time he appeared as I was slowly moving past a taxi. He had to jump to avoid my bike taking him out.

can anyone tell me exactly what part i have to order? i.e. is there a particular year etc i need?

also are they easy to fit? i'm a monkey see monkey do type of guy!

As per title just ask dealer for "DL650 V-Strom handguards " they come with great instructions. I think the DL650 is like the Pointy i.e. all years are basically the same (the guards for the 1000 though are NOT what you want)

Over the last few weeks a few people on here bought some of Robinsons Foundry. I have used them twice now and they're always v quick and friendly.

Hmmmm....I ordered some the other Thursday, they arrived the following Thursday, in the meantime I'd called them and they sent another set that arrived on the Friday....so I have 2 sets!

(although I'll be a good citizen and return the 'spare' set obviously)

Easy to fit, though I think I did cut the 'bar end weight' bolt down a touch for the curvy.
