What makes a good biker spot?
I could be wrong, in which case this could be a short thread, but I don't think there is a good biker watering hole in Warrington and that bugs me, so before looking to find somewhere I was wondering what that prerequisites are for a good place. What do you think?
A nice view? Good parking? A fast escape route? what else and why? |

Re: What makes a good biker spot?
It has to be somewhere you want to go. So at the end of great roads.
Thereafter why?. If you are on the bike, a bite to eat, a brew. Toilets and getaway. So places like Devils, PennyGarth in Hawes etc. excellent venues for an hour. But FFS why would you want to stay there for hours like some do. drop in, use available facilities and sod off. For a social thing. A bike friendly bar, cheap, lots of parking. But then someone then wants food/coffee and you end up having to sod off elsewhere if you still want to be social. It is a no win.
