Default UK break recommendation

Looking for recommendations for a UK break for the Mem Sahib and myself. It is no secret that she is terminally ill. So comfortable, no physical exertion. we are limited to maybe a flat stroll no more than 1 mile.

Where should I take her, what should we do. Good hotel, excellent restaurants a pre-requisite. obviosly, I will be taxi.

Weymouth is pretty flat, the bay is shallow should you wish to paddle. It's warmer than up here, although it's good at the moment.
It was about 4/5 years ago now (nobody's counting 2020 are they) my youngest would have been about 4 and managed walking round all day.
With kids in tow we didn't eat out, places looked decent though.

There's stuff nearby to do as well.

Trek and a half from up here though so would depend on how far you want to travel if it gets uncomfortable..

If your passports are up to date you could go over to the IOW, some lovely walks over there, never more than half a mile from a pub or some kind of eateries. Plenty of attractions to fill the day and all very accessible, choose your own pace too as it's a very 'laid back' kind of vibe. Been there many a time when children were younger, never had a disappointment.
