Nice one.... Nice Dressage Photo.....I will have to grab myself a copy. Stunning horse!
I ride horses too but don't ride much at the mo, can't afford to keep a horse anymore. This one was a bit of a nutter, only rode it so the owner could sell it, it used to rear and plunge and buck, was still safer than a bike lol....

Is that you jumping? Gosh youre brave!!! Id rather take my chances on the bike than jumping - always used to fall off! Mind you my friend's horse that I have been riding had a few nice little bucks on friday - I managed to stay on board though

Oh so many threads to reply to:

Paws....Wow, worth a visit then, I miss horse contact, I have ridden for many years now, my Dad was a jockey in South Africa (flat racing - we dont jump race over there) so I got the bug at quite a young age, didnt start jumping till I was about 12 though.

Arty, yes that is me jumping, its not a big cross country fence but that horse was an absolute pig.

I rode it for a client of Paddy McMahon's because he hated it so much he eventually gave up on it. It did give me a few very frightening moments though but we got there in the end.

Wow I had no idea how many of you ride horses (as well as the iron ones!)
