Talking newbie arriving on the 9th

Hi everybody (as Dr. Nick would say)

Just plunked down my deposit for a new SV650Sport in candy blue...

Have dreamed about this bike for years and was very dissapointed when i settled for a yam FZ6 two years ago....

so.... I have the sport fairings being fitted along with the pre-requisite R&G crash bungs (which saved the fz6 as i was trying to park and let the front tyre touch a bit of wet grass....not a very gracefull way to drop your bike, especially when you are pinned underneath...)

what does everyone reccommend i get first to improve this great bike???

p.s. any ideas on who is the cheapest for insurance with an sv?? the general consensus seems mixed with express giving me the best quote so far...

anyway, glad to be here and hope to meet everyone at some bike meets when i get up and running!

I's all down to personal taste. Try to meet up wiv some of the guy's on here and have a listen to theirs. I got an Akropovic and absolutely love it (everyone will say theirs is best!) but Fuel get recommended alot (they're cheap too!).
