Fuel leak
Hi, I have an intermittent fuel leak on my 2006 650s. It only happens after the bike has been left for a while say a few weeks or a month or so and Ive been struggling to find where its from as every time I look for it the leak stops!
Turns out its coming from the main connector to the injector bodies on the line from the tank but every time I lift the tank to inspect the area the connector rotates and its o-rings reseal. This is why after inspection the leak always stops and Ive never been able to find the source so now I just have to stop it doing it.... |

Re: Fuel leak
Hi
Not sure if it would be the same problem on later bikes or indeed if this is the problem but my did leak fuel due to the carbs being flooded as the vacuum valve on the tank had stopped working. Maybe worth a look? |
