Default Utter stupidity

OK, I'll admit now how stupid this was but when doing some soldering on the bike wiring I dropped a blob of solder onto the chainguard of the OEM red hugger I have on the bike.

I can't afford to replace it so I'm going to have to scrape off the solder blob which will scratch the paint most likely.

So my plan is to get some kind of sitcker that will fit on the top of the chainguard to cover my stupidity...........

any ideas of what would look good and where to get it from?

Buy a Set of R&Gs I'm sure the huge silve stickers that come with it will look perfect

Got some, could use the solder blob as a full stop at the end of R&G

Good chance it'll be OK under that... Pop it off, very gently, and see how it looks first, then it's worth attacking it with G3 or similiar if it's damaged.

Cheers northwind, I'll try it tonight and see how it goes. Hopefully the solder cooled sufficiently not to melt the plastic when it hit.

I'd agree with northwind, peel it off with your fingernail and give it a polish up. Unless the iron was really close to the hugger when the solder dropped off I'd be really surprised if it has left a mark.
Fingers crossed for you..
