It gets better, I have just been talking to the daughter.

As I initially said the police officer knocked on her door to say what she had seen before going over ther road, to confont the driver.

So not only has he been charged with drink driving. But my daughter has been interviewed as a witness to his assault on a police officer. Because the assaulted officer is a witness to the drink driving and leaving the scene etc. The assault is being investigated by an officer from a second station. So the interviewing officer was unable to give much info of use to the daughter for her insurance report, however at least it has been confirmed that he has insurance. 3 times over by the way.

Dont feel you have to stay local, there are a few rideouts when the weather improves.

* if I'd stuck to two lines, I'd have beaten him to it!
