SV1000 front end...value? - SV650.org

Hey all

As I've now started putting a GSXR front end on my thou, I've got the entire front end (minus wheel and handlebars) as spare. I may well keep them in case I sell the bike so I can return it to normal.

Any ideas what the value would be? It's only got 8500 miles on it. Forks, calipers and triples are unmarked. Front mudguard is also mint, no marks in red. Axle will be included along with the sleeve etc.

Anyone? They don't seem to be available on Ebay so it's a bit difficult to price correctly...

Just by the fact they don't appear on eBay should mean they command a good price, although temper that with the number of sv1000s on the road.

Call a breaker and get him to quote you for front end

Yeah, there in lies the difficulty. I'd be happy with £400 for it I think. They slot right into SV650's so there's an easy upgrade for most owners right there.

I'll have a think about it. Might end up hating the Gixxer front, you never know!

Stick a reserve on it, if it doesn't make the £400 you'll at least have an idea what the market thinks it's worth.
