Default Getting Permanent Marker Off Paint

My folks had their car vandalised with permanent marker. Any tips for getting it off?

someone suggested those white board markers. draw over the marks and wipe off immediately.

Yep works a treat just do a little at a time and then give it a good polish afterwards

Ethanol usually works, if not acetone. Unsure if acetone will damage paintwork. Probably not.
