Bling or a worthwhile mod? - SV650.org

I have a set of Brembo calipers off the Duc 998 I am thinking of putting on my gsxr forks. Problem is I need a 165$ (USD) adapter plate to make em work

, my brakes work very well now but I have a brembo master already and thought why not matching calipers?

I am thinking that it is just a blingy mod and I should sell the Brembo calipers but thought I'd ask you good folk what you think. So what say you? They are the 4 pot 65mm brenbos BTW.

Just did not want to find later that they are "the cats ass" and i was afool not to put em on. Thanks

are you replacing gsxr brakes or SV brakes then?

Indeed the GSXR units are well good enough and a fine upgrade on the standard SV stuff, that said, you wouldn't be the first to put stuff on an SV just because you can

No one this side of the pond likes the faring I have but me,but My opinion is really the important one ,right?

I think I will put the brembos on ebay,does'nt seem worthwhile.

They did used to see some race use when that model GSXR was still campaigning... I can't say as I've ever felt the GSXR ones are at all lacking when matched to a good master cylinder though, not for my use, and I see some sort of Brembo radial lurking there
