Default Clock covers

Hi everyone,

I am nearing the end of my degree in Product Design, and have free access to a workshop for around a month and I have just had a brain fart.

I have the facilities available, so that I could design and manufacture clock surrounds turning bikes into naked machines.

Do you think there would be much call for this? Would anybody be interested in these?

Let me know what you lot think, take it easy, and ride safe all

The majority of bits to change an S into a N are readily available so I am not sure what the take up would be. What exactly do you mean by a "clock surround"

Hi Stilo,

What I had in mind was a sort of plastic cowling, similar to what is on the back of the N clocks, more for looks but also to better protect the wires plugged into the clock.

I would likely CAD and then CNC some moulds from MDF or model board and use a vac former I have built to make the parts from HIPs or ABS.

If I were converting mine I would be interested. Trouble is, you reall have to do the work and form one then show it next to a picture of a naked version to get people to buy. Good idea though.
