It must've been the clutch...
...but it's over now.
Thanks to the delightful people of this forum my stiff clutch is no longer stiff. Spent a good amount of time perusing the archives and came across some very useful advice on here. Ended up stripping, re-greasing and repositioning the drive worm thingy last night. Going to have to reroute the clutch cable but that's a job for the weekend. Clutch feels instantly easier to pull in. For anyone else that's thinking of doing this, or is having issues with their stiff clutch, take a look at this old thread: http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=146076 Thanks to all the contributors. Love this site! Cheers. |
